Week 1 · starter posts, ready to copy

Disclosure: about the maintainer's own products (OneClickTool). Written only from what each product page says (checked 2026-10-11): no numbers, no user claims. Add real numbers in the <…> slots or delete that line. Links: resources/links.md. Format guide: docs/05-post-formats.md.

Mon · Demo · AgentBell (audience on X: devs using Claude Code / Codex)

Attach: 15 s clip. Terminal running Claude Code → switch to another app → banner drops in → click "Go to Terminal".

Claude Code asks for approval. You're in another window. It just sits there waiting.

I made a free menu bar app for that: AgentBell plays a sound and shows a big banner, even over full-screen apps. Click it, you're back in the terminal.

Tue · Lesson · Sweepy

Attach: screenshot of a Downloads folder with report (1).pdf, report (2).pdf….

What fills a Mac's Downloads folder, from building a cleaner for it:
1. the same file downloaded again and again
2. .dmg installers you ran once
3. one forgotten screen recording eating gigabytes

Sweepy moves them to the Trash, never deletes for good, and can undo the whole cleanup.

Wed · Tip without the product

Mac tip: hold ⌥ (Option) and click the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar.
You get your IP address, router, channel and signal strength, no app needed.

Thu · Behind the scenes · AgentBell

Design rule I kept for AgentBell: connecting to Claude Code edits a config file, so the app saves a backup first, and "Remove" puts the file back exactly as it was.

If your tool touches someone's config, give them a way back.

Fri · Question

Devs who live in Markdown: where do your notes and AI skill files end up?
One repo, a notes app, or 10 folders you never open again?

Asking because I made a free viewer that shows a whole folder as a table and a link map (Mac & Windows).

Sat · Long post (Premium) · Redliner

Attach: side-by-side screenshot with highlighted changes. Payoff is in the first lines.

Comparing two versions of a contract by eye is how you miss the one changed number.

I'm building Redliner, a Mac app that puts old and new side by side and highlights every added, removed and changed word, with the page for each change. PDF, Word, RTF or text, even scanned PDFs, and the two don't need to be the same format.

What I learned building it:
1. People care most about changed amounts, dates and percentages, so there's a filter just for those.
2. Contracts are private. Everything runs on the Mac: no account, no analytics.
3. Free to try on the first 3 pages; Pro is a one-time $14.99, not a subscription.

Coming to the Mac App Store soon. What do you compare most: contracts, quotes or policies?
